Once payment is received, Dr. Dominguez will email you to set up a convenient time for your consultation on any topic related to the field of Animal-Assisted Therapy/Activities, such as:
- therapy animal certification
- setting up a therapy program
- training for handlers and their pets
- working with patients and residents of all ages
(children to the elderly), hospice, school groups,
camps, reading assistance programs, community
outreach - contacting staff/personnel for visits
- liability
- recruiting volunteers
- animal behavior issues and more

LOCATION: MAUI, HAWAII, USA
One on one training with Dr. Dominguez includes training for both the animal and handler in the therapy environment, everything you need to know to pass the tests*, guidelines for visiting facilities, do's and don't's, procedures for contacting personnel to set-up visits, and actual on-site training with your animal at the facilities while working with patients / residents / clients.
REQUIREMENTS: Dogs must be a minimum age of 1 years old Perform basic obedience commands (heel, sit, down, stay) Up-to-date on all vaccinations No retractable leashes (4 ft leash required) No pinch or choke collars allowed * The majority of dogs and handlers trained by Dr. Dominguez do pass the tests, however due to the nature of the work involved and based on the abilities of the dog and handler, training does not guarantee passing of therapy dog and CGC tests. Animals showing aggression of any kind are not permitted and will not qualify. No refunds. |

| Dr. Dominguez has 26 therapy bunnies presently working in her Animal-Assisted Therapy Program. Each one enjoys being held and sitting in laps! She has trained over 60 rabbits to work in her program, all stay still for nail trims and do not require anyone to hold the rabbit. This guide offers her proven expertise for every bunny guardian/caretaker/owner on how to achieve the same results easily! | ||
| THERAPY DOG CERTIFICATION (by appointment only) Certification through Tails Of Aloha, Inc.
Annual Membership: $35.00 (one handler) $45.00 (two handlers) Each Additional Dog: $10.00 Each handler must be tested with the dog to register. Minimum 3 observations at a health care facility for certification.
Prerequisite: Passing of AKC CGC Test

| AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB
CANINE GOOD CITIZENS PROGRAM
The AKC CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. AKC CGC Membership: $8.00
